    Rules and Guidelines:

The purpose of these breeder sections is to provide the public with information about the availability of purebred canines, puppies or adult dogs, or stud service, from frank, ethical and honest breeders.

Breeders should be forthright with the public and identify themselves fully with their legal names and kennel name if any, and make available some means by which, the public can contact them, either by telephone, fax and or e-mail. Mailing addresses may be omitted for security reasons if so wished, in which case only a generalized location will be published.

If your breed is one in which genetic problems are known, and for which testing and certification is available like OFA, CERF and any others, we expect that our advertisers will be totally frank and honest about any testing done on their breeding stock.

We believe that most responsible breeders are active in Breed Clubs or Kennel Clubs and/or participate in competition of Championship Shows or Obedience Trials, Field Trials or some other related activity, and are proud to say so.   We also recognize that there are responsible breeders who adhere to the breed standard, but who do not participate in those competitive activities and therefore participation is not a condition of being accepted as an advertiser.

We will not knowingly accept listings from breeders, or keep existing listings of breeders, who are deliberately cross-breeding two recognized breeds to create so called "new breeds" which cannot be registered nor sold, as purebred dogs, such as "Labradoodles", "Terripoos", or any other such creations.

We will not knowingly accept listings from breeders, or keep existing listings of breeders, who are deliberately breeding dogs, whose conformation violate the guidelines of that breed's respective breed standard.  For example, we do not condone deliberately breeding dogs which would be disqualified, as per the breed standard.

NOTE:  If you live in a State or Province known to have a lot of "Puppy Mills", unless you are members of breed clubs and/or kennel clubs, or actively participate in dog shows or trials, we may not, at our sole discretion, accept your ad.

We believe that responsible breeders should offer health guarantees with their puppies or adults sold, not just health certificates, and furthermore, that all sales and guarantees are by written contracts, dated, and signed by both buyer and breeder and a copy given to the buyer at the time of delivery or before.

    E-mail and URL links:

Your e-mail link and link to your website, if any, are included in the cost of your listing.   If you get a website later on, you can add a link to it by simply e-mailing us the link.

    Updating:

You may update a few words of your Listing - periodically - No Charge!
That does not mean change the whole ad every month however, or increase the number of words beyond the limit.  As long as we feel it is reasonable, we'll be glad to hear from you.
If you need to change your e-mail address or want to add a website URL at a later date, that's fine - just send us a regular e-mail with the URL link.

    Advertising puppies and quoting prices:

We do not publish asking prices of puppies ever!   We will not publish "Puppies available or litter due - " etc., unless payment is to be by on-line credit card payment or by fax - not by snail mail.   Date of birth should be included.

    Editor's Discretion:

The editor, at his sole discretion, reserves the right to edit an ad where deemed necessary.

    In good Standing:

We will not knowingly accept ads, or renew any ads, from breeders currently under suspension, or not in good standing with either the AKC or the CKC or any other recognized Kennel Club registry, for any reason whatsoever, or who have ever been convicted of fraud or cruelty to animals.   If it is brought to the attention of Dogbiz.com that an advertiser has misrepresented facts, or has recently been suspended, it will be deemed a breach of contract on the part of the advertiser with Dogbiz.com and a valid reason for immediate cancellation and removal of the listing(s) and forfeiture of monies paid, if any.

    Pet Stores etc.:

Each and every advertiser warrants that he/she/they do not, now, nor will not for the duration of any listing(s), sell puppies to pet stores, auctions or any other commercial enterprise, or research facility.   To do so, will be deemed a breach of contract on the part of the advertiser with Dogbiz.com and a valid reason for immediate cancellation and removal of the listing(s) and forfeiture of any monies paid, if any.

    False and/or Misleading Advertising:

Advertising which is knowingly misleading and/or false will be considered a breach of contract with Dogbiz.com and will be grounds for immediate removal of ad, and forfeiture of all monies paid, if any.

    Complaints:

Complaints by the public or from other breeders will be investigated by Dogbiz.com or agents acting on its behalf, and may, as a result of the findings, or at the sole discretion of Dogbiz.com, result in the cancellation of the listing(s), and forfeiture of any monies paid, if any, or refusal to renew any listing(s).

    Agreement:

An advertisement submitted to Dogbiz.com for the purpose of being published on the Dogbiz.com website is conditional upon the breeder(s) agreeing to the terms and conditions herein stated.

    Ads Refused:

Dogbiz.com reserves the right to refuse any advertising from breeders who, in the sole opinion of our company, do not comply with our rules and guidelines.

    Rights Reserved:

Dogbiz reserves the right at its sole discretion, to amend or add to these rules at any time deemed necessary, without notice.
